We continue to support English manufacturers

I have supplied English bone china since the business was started in 1986, it has always been one of the main selling strengths of our products. Recently with the demise of so many English manufacturers (I have lost three of my main suppliers since October 2006) and the growth of overseas suppliers it has become increasing difficult to source our products. I do not intend to give in to the pressure of price and availability in favour of the quality and reliability of our own manufacturing businesses.

I have managed to re-source all of my shapes from English manufacturers but I have to pay for the right to put the 'English bone china' backstamp on the base of our products. Particularly the standard beaker which will have the largest increase in price as it is now made by hand.

New price lists will be available in the next few weeks. I hope you will continue to support our English manufacturers as most of my customers who I have spoken to have said they would.
